Alan Cavé was born in New York to Haitian parents but grew up partly in Haiti. He comes from an artistic family—his father, Syto Cavé, is a well-known Haitian poet, playwright, and art director, while his mother was deeply involved in Haitian cultural life. Growing up in a creative household, Alan developed a love for music and storytelling from an early age. His bicultural upbringing (Haitian and American) gave him the ability to blend Caribbean rhythms with international sounds.
