Growing up in a creative household, Alan developed a love for music and storytelling from an early age. His bicultural upbringing (Haitian and American) gave him the ability to blend Caribbean rhythms with international sounds.

While continuing with Zin, Alan Cavé also pursued a solo career. His debut solo album “Se Pa Pou Dat” (2001)became a landmark in Konpa music, filled with classics that remain staples at Haitian weddings, parties, and radio stations worldwide.

Over the years, Cavé has collaborated with various Haitian and Caribbean artists, extending his influence in the broader world music scene. His songs are particularly popular across the Haitian diaspora in the U.S., Canada, France, and the Caribbean.
