Arly Lariviere
- Full Name: Arly Larivière
- Date of Birth: August 22, 1972
- Place of Birth: Cap-Haïtien, Nord, Haiti
- Family: He is one of five children (second oldest) . His father is a noted composer for Tropicana, and was an early influence on Arly’s musical development.
Early Musical Development
- He formed his first band in his hometown called Kazak Eksperyans D’Haiti.
- Later he left Kazak to start a group named Feeling, along with Shedly Abraham, Elliot “Prince Elo” Alouidor, and Nickson “Niki Bass” Mesidor.
- In 1992, he joined Lakol Mizik Majik, forming what is described as a “superband”, and they released a popular carnival song.


Move to the U.S. and Formation of Nu-Look
- After touring with Lakol, Arly decided to settle in Florida, USA.
- In Florida, he founded the band D’Zine, which later rebranded into Nu-Look.
Career Highlights
- With Nu-Look, Arly Larivière became well-known as lead singer, composer, and “maestro” of the band.
- Some of his well-known songs include Loving You, Why Do You Say You Love Me, Notre Histoire, A Qui La Faute.
- In 2010, Gazzman “Couleur” Pierre (his co-founder) left Nu-Look to form another band.
- After some changes in personnel, Arly eventually became the sole singer of the band.
- In November 2013, Nu-Look released the album I Got This, written entirely by Arly.
